From the front, not so much. They look a little frumpy to me, although I must admit a little bias away from BMWs in general.

It's not bad at all. Sedan M3 > Coupe M3 > Conv. M3. Still I'd take the e90 first, then the e36. The e46 M3 does look impressive in blue though:
